ArcadeRTFM is a free community resource. The parts of it that I made are given away completely; the parts that belong to other people are not mine to give.

Public domain: the site and the compiled database

The following are dedicated to the public domain under Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal:

• the site code, page templates, stylesheets and build script;
• the icons, favicon and social-sharing image;
• the compiled machine database (machines.json, aliases.json and the generated machine pages): the selection, arrangement and enrichment of the data, including component lists, PCB part numbers, fuse ratings and the mapping of service manuals to machines.

You may copy, modify, redistribute and use all of the above for any purpose, commercial or not, without asking permission and without attribution.

Not covered: the service manuals

The service manuals and other scanned documents linked from this site remain the copyright of their original publishers and authors. They are hosted for preservation and repair reference only and are not licensed under CC0 or any other licence by this site. Rights holders with concerns can contact info@arcadertfm.com.

Not covered: MAME

Machine specifications, DIP switch definitions and clone relationships are derived from MAME. This site reproduces factual information only and claims no rights over MAME or its source code, which is licensed separately by the MAME team. I am grateful to everyone who has documented this hardware over the years.

Not covered: trademarks and fonts

Game titles, manufacturer names and logos remain the trademarks of their respective owners and are used here for identification only. The fonts Press Start 2P and Share Tech Mono are served by Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License and are not redistributed here.
